Spider-Man : No Way Home (2021)

I really enjoyed the film, mostly because of the way it was written and weaved in past villains and spidermen. I loved the social commentary of heal/cure vs. kill. I felt it relevant to the covid world we live in and how much we continue struggle with it.

The acting is decent across the board, with a few light and emotional moments to pepper the action scenes and top quality special effects. The result: a well fleshed out plot with enough bang for your buck.

Comfortable seating or an IMAX experience would be great for it. It is a refreshing exploration of the multiverse and leaves many avenues open and doors to knock on for future franchises.

Zack Snyder’s Justice League (2021)

It may seem long on paper, but 242 minutes divided into parts, with superb cinematography and interesting story make the film a fun watch.

The super heroes have the advantage of their rich back stories but still provide little glimpses for the audiences’ sake. They come together slowly and work together wonderfully.

There’s plenty to keep you hooked and look forward to. Watch it for an unforgettable cinematic experience and expect the unexpected!

Murder on the Orient Express (2017)

Multi-talented Kenneth Branagh is the lead actor, producer and director of this film, based on the classic novel by Agatha Christie, and manages to set himself apart very successfully from his previous characters.

The movie has a host of actors; Penélope Cruz, Willem Dafoe, Judi Dench, Johnny Depp, Josh Gad, Derek Jacobi, Leslie Odom Jr., Michelle Pfeiffer, and Daisy Ridley, all in supporting roles, each doing their part well to keep the audience guessing who is the murderer.

The opening act and the scenes that follow set up the premise of the film well, and reach a fitting conclusion in an appropriate length of time. Great cinematography and visuals don’t distract from the murder at hand, rather paint a lovely period drama.

An interesting watch, especially if you haven’t read the book.
