The sub-plots culminate into a climax that shows everyone’s journeys, emotionally, mentally and physically. While the picture that’s painted is very ideal, it speaks of how life could have been in the 50s.
Rock Hudson’s not so secret life, the politics present in movie studios, business fronts and wild parties are all connected in a web of the dual lives that everyone seems to lead.
David Corenswet, Darren Criss, Laura Harrier, Joe Mantello, Dylan McDermott, Jake Picking, Jeremy Pope, Holland Taylor, Samara Weaving and Patti LuPone show us shades and nuances that reveal a new layer in every episode.
Performances are exceptional across the ensemble cast, but the one that sticks in your memory is by Jim Parsons. He will send shivers up your spine with his character.
A riveting watch with production values that recreate the period perfectly, it gives you everything you could want in a tv series!
Upload (2020)
A satire about an alternate life after death, it takes a futuristic look at what option maybe available.
The fiction is laced with comedy and the inevitable loneliness at being in touch with those that continue to live, but never really being part of their lives.
An interesting perspective that makes you wonder what choice would you make?

Never have I ever (2020)
A coming of age dramedy, with an Indian / American protagonist, it packs in more than teenage romance, sexuality and rivalry, touching upon grief, therapy, parenting, disability and many other relevant issues.
Well acted by the entire cast, it has two popular narrators who bring the star value to the show. A fun and light watch with a caricaturist approach to Indian society, which perhaps is its only drawback.
Definitely recommend!
Extraction (2020)
Chris Hemsworth and director Sam Hargrave give us exceptional action in Dhaka where a a drug lord’s son is being held after he is kidnapped.
Randeep Hooda is a pleasant surprise, supported well by Rudhraksh Jaiswal. Kudos to the little kid who threatens Chris not once but twice in an action sequence, he was memorable!
Thoroughly enjoyed the setting and pace of the film. Streaming now on Netflix.
